Cellilux Glacial Mineral Gel vs. My KP = K.O.!

Image

Cellilux Glacial Mineral Gel has been taking the Asian beauty scene by storm, especially in China, Singapore, and Japan. Their groundbreaking spa-style mask made from real British Colombian Colloidal Clay promises to penetrate into the deepest layers of your skin to draw out impurities, leaving you with fresh, radiant skin. The mask also boasts anti-aging properties and gentle exfoliation. Based on its ingredient list- 4,000 year old Canadia Clay, Deep Sea Glacial Mineral Water, Organic Acai Extract, Organic Green Tea, and the Iconic “Ion Factor”- it’s not hard to believe Cellilux may just pull it off. As you probably know, green tea, acai, and clay are all common mask ingredients. But what makes this mask stand out? What makes it so absolutely incredible that women across the world are snatching it off the shelves?

The Ion Factor.

There is no other mask like Cellilux in the entire world. Cellilux’s mask contains negatively charged ions, which attracts positive ions. This, in turn, removes dead skin, bacteria, and cleanses pores.

For those of you who are confused, (and for those that aren’t) Cellilux provided a simple chart explaining the interaction of the ions.

celliluxchart.jpgThe  clay effectively absorbs the positively charged ions (in this case, the impurities), and draws them out from within the skin, leaving you fresh and radiant.

Now that I’ve explained all that, does it really work??

Yes. Yes. YES.

Cellilux’s mask doesn’t just work well, it works miracles. Allow me to demonstrate:

I  have a genetic skin condition called Keratosis Pilaris (KP) on both my cheeks and my upper arms. KP is a relatively common skin condition in which the  Keratin in my skin forms hard plugs/bumps within hair follicles. It may not sound like much, but believe me, I hate it. I’ve been fielding questions my entire life about my KP. Though many people suffer from this skin condition, mine is a relatively severe case and often makes people stop and simply stare when they get close to me. My arms are fine- they don’t bother me in the slightest. What bothers me is the fact that it’s on my face.

kp01

They have never shown up well in photographs, but the bumps are there. They make my skin red and blotchy, and no matter what I do, they won’t go away. I’ve tried every cure under the sun- steroid creams/injections, deep exfoliation, everything.

None of it worked.

The KP continued to plague me, fueling teasing and exclusion, and damaging my almost non-existent self esteem. No matter where I went, people looked.  They looked at me with disgust because of something I could not control, but was forced to live with.

hated it. The memory of those days still brings back unpleasant feelings that make me want to crawl into a hole and die. I hated being looked at, and I struggled to make friends when I was younger because I was terrified of being ridiculed. Most people make friends naturally, but I was too afraid to come out of my shell. I led a lonely life during my primary school years.

Thankfully, times have changed.

my skin looks so much better

Cellilux’s “Ion Factor” is definitely something to be proud of. It truly penetrates deeply into the skin and draws out impurities, as well as softening the skin itself. My skin is still red, but the redness has diminished. I doubt it will ever go away,  but it has definitely improved.

I’d call this the only cure for KP I’ve ever seen. It works so deeply on the skin that the keratin plugs are extracted/lessened in the process. If you are, like me, suffering from Keratosis Pilaris, don’t hesitate to try it out!

I’d rate it a 19 out of 10.

This concludes the prequel of my two part review on Cellilux. The next segment will be all about how it effects normal skin and improves acne.
